据观察者网，在对华人工智能(AI)芯片一事上，美国政客如今盯上了英伟达首席执行官黄仁勋。路透3月24日消息称，印第安纳州共和党参议员吉姆·班克斯和马萨诸塞州民主党参议员伊丽莎白·沃伦23日致信商务部长卢特尼克，要求调查黄仁勋，理由是他此前有关AI芯片“未被转运”的说法，可能误导了美国政府，进而影响了他们做出向英伟达授予对华出口许可的决策。 这两位参议员均属于美国国会参议院银行委员会，两人要求商务部采取行动，暂停、吊销或重新评估所有涉及英伟达先进AI芯片和服务器系统的出口许可，范围不仅覆盖中国，还包括可能作为“中转地”的马来西亚、泰国、越南和新加坡等东南亚国家。 班克斯和沃伦在信中提到了黄仁勋在2025年接受媒体采访时的两段发言。当时，英伟达正寻求获得向中国出口芯片的许可。黄仁勋表示，“没有任何证据表明AI芯片被转运。这些都是庞大的系统，Grace Blackwell系统重达近两吨，你不可能把它放进口袋或背包里带走”。但在班克斯和沃伦看来，这些说法“问题不小”。他们声称，“这些表述不仅事后被证明是错误的，在当时就已被公开报道所否定，并可能误导美国官员”。
