National Grid (NGG) is collaborating with artificial intelligence company GridCARE, with the aim of accelerating power connections for AI data centers, GridCARE said Wednesday.
Financial terms of the partnership were not provided.
GridCARE said its Energize platform identifies underused capacity using AI models, grid simulations, and real-time system intelligence. This can reduce time-to-energization six to 12 months instead of years, the company said.
Shares of National Grid were up 2.4% pre-bell Wednesday.
