美国国防部已与多家大型防务承包商达成一系列框架协议，旨在加快关键导弹系统的生产。这些武器在美国和以色列对伊朗战争初期已被大量使用。

　　根据五角大楼的一份声明，洛克希德马丁和英国宇航系统已与美国国防部商定计划，“将末段高空区域防御系统（THAAD）拦截弹的导引头产量提高到原来的四倍”。

　　此前，美国国防部已与洛克希德马丁就一项框架安排达成一致，目标是将THAAD拦截弹产量提高至原来的四倍。

　　五角大楼还表示，在另一项单独的框架协议中，霍尼韦尔航空航天将在数年内投资5亿美元，以“迅速提升美国弹药库存关键部件的产量”，其中包括导航系统和其他产品。

　　此外，洛克希德马丁与五角大楼还将提高精确打击导弹（PrSM）的产量，取代陆军战术导弹系统（ATACMS）。
