ChainCatcher 消息，据市场消息，Coinbase 首席政策官 Faryar Shirzad 呼吁美国立法者改革加密货币税收规则，称现行法律已过时。将加密资产视为 “财产” 导致即使是支付 Gas 费或使用稳定币进行日常交易也会触发纳税义务，用户需计算成本基础、追踪损益并进行报告，造成合规负担。
Coinbase 数据显示，与去年同期相比，税务相关客服咨询量增长 34%，预计 2025 年将发放数百万份 1099-DA 表格，其中大量涉及极小金额交易。Shirzad 指出，超过 63% 的用户存在成本基础记录缺口，纳税人要么多缴税，要么被迫手动核对交易。他建议对小额交易设立最低豁免额度，以消除报告小额支付的负担。若税收规则不调整，可能将用户和创新推向海外，影响美国在加密领域的竞争力。
