1110 ET - Unity Software's decision to sunset its ironSource Ads Network and pursue the divestiture of its Supersonic game publishing business is a "logical next step" in streamlining the business for profitability, according to Wedbush in a note. "Unity is shedding the lower-growth, lower-margin legacy pieces from the ironSource acquisition to concentrate resources on Vector and the core engine," the analysts say. The Supersonic divestiture, which the analysts say hadn't been previously telegraphed, introduces some short-term uncertainty around timing and deal terms. "That said, we believe the Q1 upside and cleaner business mix reinforce the path to GAAP profitability we previously outlined, and we see the current market price as an opportunity," the analysts say. Unity surges 10%. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
