Blue Owl Capital (OWL) is seeking partnerships with family offices, eyeing opportunities ranging from large scale co-investments to pooled vehicles, as it looks to bring more wealthy clients into private markets, Bloomberg reported Friday.

The firm has hired Blake Shorthouse from KKR (KKR) to lead the push into family offices and the team has now grown to about eight people, which includes Eric Render and Charlotte Shropshire from Blue Owl's institutional capital team and BlackRock's (BLK) Ellie Stoneham tapped in January, the report said.

Blue Owl Capital did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
