消息面上，据第一财经报道，针对是否有中国船东的货船成功穿越霍尔木兹海峡进入外海，中远海能证券部人士回应称：“还在评估安全形势”。此外，招商轮船证券部人士透露，目前公司没有船舶滞留波斯湾，战争后也没有通过风险区域的计划，而是走其他运输航线，目前油轮运价比战争前上涨超50%。
中信建投此前发布研报称，美国放松对伊朗原油制裁，对油运市场短空长多。3月20日美对海上1.4亿桶伊朗原油实施30天制裁豁免以平抑高油价，短期亚洲周边浮仓原油将集中卸货，运力短暂释放；中长期霍尔木兹海峡通行风险拉满，伊朗无多余原油供应，亚洲炼厂转寻大西洋盆地货源，航线拉长推升油轮吨海里需求。
