Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) said a preliminary sampling program of historical stockpiles at the Johnson Creek mill in Idaho returned high-grade tungsten and material levels of gold, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
A bulk sample of nearly 94 kilograms, comprising a composite of six samples of stockpile material, contains 1.85% tungsten oxide, consistent with the historical grades of past production, and material levels of gold at 0.11 grams per tonne, the filing said.
Upcoming exploration will involve a comprehensive sampling program targeting the older subsurface sections of the stockpile and a volumetric survey, per the filing.
