Breakthrough Minerals Completes Acquisition of Queensland Project; Shares Up 9%

Breakthrough Minerals (ASX:BTM) completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued capital of Dingo Minerals, securing ownership of the North Queensland project from Aeris Resources' (ASX:AIS) subsidiaries, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The consideration for the acquisition includes 41.5 million shares, up to 15 million in performance rights, and a 1.8% net smelter returns royalty on minerals extracted from the project, the filing said.

The transaction covers existing infrastructure and incorporates a mining camp, freehold property in Cloncurry, as well as mining equipment, per the filing.

Breakthrough Minerals shares rose 9% in morning trade on Thursday, while Aeris Resources shares were down 1%.
