Worst Likely Over for China Mengniu Dairy -- Market Talk

0004 GMT - China Mengniu Dairy's earnings are likely to begin recovering this year as margins expand on a cyclical rebound in raw milk prices and improved operating leverage, Citi analyst Xiaopo Wei says in a note. Core net profit in 2025 fell 13% but beat Citi's forecast. The bank says upside came from stronger operating cash flow, up 5%, and a 2% increase in dividend per share despite the profit decline. Mengniu also announced a three-year plan to raise dividends while maintaining its share-repurchase pace. Citi maintains its buy rating with a target price of HK$21.10. (venkat.pr@wsj.com)
