** The crop protection firm says it has expanded a strategic partnership with oil giant BP BP.L
** Nufarm says the updated agreement provides long-term framework that supports growth of Carinata to be sued as non-food intermediate crop biofuel feedstock
** Carinata is non-food cover crop that can be used to produce low-carbon biofuel feedstock
** Stock down nearly 20% this year, including the day's move
