Image Resources (ASX:IMA) said Entech completed an independent desktop study of open pit assessment with assumed carbon-in-leach processing on its Erayinia King gold project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The results justify further project development investigations, as well as a follow-on drilling program to upgrade the mineral resources and delineate the continuation of gold mineralization at depth.

A 7,000-meter drill program comprising 60 reverse circulation and diamond core drill holes is scheduled to start in the June quarter.

Its shares fell 6% in recent trading on Thursday.
