ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Block 报道，Gnosis 联合创始人 Friederike Ernst 和 Zisk 创始人 Jordi Baylina 周日在戛纳 EthCC 大会上联合宣布了 “以太坊经济区” （EEZ）计划，该项目获以太坊基金会共同资助。
EEZ 旨在为 Rollup 创建一套框架，使连接的 Rollup 上的智能合约能够与以太坊主网及其他 EEZ Rollup 进行同步可组合调用，且安全保证与直接部署在以太坊上相同。该框架默认使用 ETH 作为 Gas 代币，无需额外的跨链桥基础设施。Ernst 表示：“以太坊没有扩容问题，它有碎片化问题。每一个新上线的 L2 都有自己的流动性池和桥接，都是另一个孤立的围墙花园。”
EEZ 联盟创始成员包括 DeFi 借贷协议 Aave、区块构建商 Titan 和 Beaver Build、RWA 平台 Centrifuge，以及代币化股票项目 xStocks。项目将以瑞士非营利机构形式运作，所有软件以自由开源形式发布，目标是最小化治理并最终实现不可升级。技术规格和性能基准预计将在未来几周内公布。
