Aeris Resources (ASX:AIS) said it found gold mineralization during a recent drilling at the Golden Plateau deposit, located within its Cracow tenement package in Queensland, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 34.5 meters at 3.1 grams per tonne grade of gold from 184.6 meters and 7.1 meters at 4.9g/t gold from 130 meters.
The company said the drill program has been expanded to 14,000 meters from 6,400 meters, as results strengthen its view that there is a significant opportunity at Golden Plateau both within remnants and beyond the historical workings.
The company's shares fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
