智通财经APP讯，世界华文媒体(00685)发布公告，于2026年3月27日，公司间接全资附属公司Ming Pao Holdings (Canada) Limited作为卖方与买方Cyclone Range Hoods Inc.订立买卖协议，据此，卖方同意出售，而买方同意购买该物业，购买价为990万加元。该物业，包括位于加拿大安大略省多伦多Huntingwood Drive1355号(M1S 3J1)的土地及建于其上的单层工业建筑物。
鉴于集团并无媒体业务需要使用该物业，董事认为，出售事项为透过出售加拿大物业套现并重新分配其财务资源至其他业务需要的良机。
