沃尔沃汽车（Volvo Car）将通过一项协议增持电动汽车制造商极星（Polestar）的股份，该协议旨在将沃尔沃汽车提供给极星的部分贷款转换为股权。

　　极星由沃尔沃汽车及吉利控股共同创立，是一家独立的电动汽车制造商。2022年，该公司通过与一家特殊目的收购公司（SPAC）合并的方式在纳斯达克上市。

　　自上市以来，极星的股价已下跌96%。在电动汽车市场增长乏力且竞争日趋激烈的背景下，该公司陷入亏损。此前，极星已从沃尔沃（Volvo）获得约10亿美元的融资。

　　根据周二公布的交易方案，沃尔沃将把10亿美元贷款中的2.74亿美元转换为股权，其在极星的持股比例将从9.8%提升至19.9%。

　　交易完成后，吉利也将把约3亿美元的债权转换为股权。

　　为避免沃尔沃汽车的持股被稀释，这家瑞典汽车制造商随后将进行第二笔规模较小的债转股，金额约6500万美元，从而将其在极星的持股比例维持在19.9%。

　　沃尔沃表示：“沃尔沃汽车与极星有着重要的运营和商业合作关系。此次债转股将增强极星的资产负债表，此举符合双方公司的利益，也有助于双方的合作关系成功延续下去。”

　　这些交易不会对短期现金产生任何直接影响。
