埃及与塞浦路斯周一在2026年埃及能源展上签署了天然气合作框架协议。

　　塞浦路斯总统府发言人表示，这份不具约束力的协议将成为两国进一步谈判开发利用塞浦路斯油气储备相关协议的基础。

　　另一位塞浦路斯政府官员补充称，该协议将使两国能够就塞浦路斯克罗诺斯和阿芙洛狄特海上气田向埃及或埃及国有企业出售天然气进行谈判。

　　塞浦路斯官员表示，他们可能从2027年或2028年开始从克罗诺斯气田开采天然气。

　　去年，埃及与塞浦路斯签署协议，允许将塞浦路斯海上气田的天然气出口至埃及进行液化处理，再重新出口至欧洲。两国均希望借此加强东地中海作为能源枢纽的地位。

　　埃及正承受着伊朗战争的溢出效应，尤其是在能源领域，因为该国依赖进口燃料。随着中东地区油气生产和贸易的中断，相关成本已急剧膨胀。

　　埃及政府已上调燃料价格和公共交通票价，宣布实施居家办公政策，并要求大多数商场、商店和餐馆每周五天在晚上9点前关门。
