军工制造商莱茵金属（Rheinmetall）表示，已与波音（Boeing）的澳大利亚子公司达成协议，将为德国军方提供自主作战飞机，以增强德国的空域能力。

　　莱茵金属表示，预计该交易将为其带来数亿欧元的收入，并将使德国联邦国防军（Bundeswehr）能够在2029年前采购到协同作战飞机MQ-28 Ghost Bat。

　　莱茵金属称，波音的MQ-28 Ghost Bat是为澳大利亚皇家空军和其他盟国开发的。

　　莱茵金属表示，公司将担任这款作战飞机的系统管理者，并监督其融入德国军事体系的工作。

　　莱茵金属首席执行官阿明．帕珀格（Armin Papperger）表示：“通过与Boeing Defence Australia的合作，我们正在为根据德国联邦国防军的要求对MQ-28进行优化定制奠定基础。”

　　莱茵金属表示，将为德国和澳大利亚的工程师提供一个数字环境，用于测试新软件和创新技术。

　　波音全球（Boeing Global）总裁布伦丹．纳尔逊（Brendan Nelson）博士表示：“这不仅是我们两家公司之间的合作，也是德国与澳大利亚这两个伟大国家之间的合作，两国在将协同作战飞机整合到各自空军方面有着相似的战略。”
