Haitong Unitrust's Profit Falls 6% in 2025; Shares Gain 5%

Haitong Unitrust International Financial Leasing's (HKG:1905) profit fell 5.8% to 1.42 billion yuan for 2025, from 1.51 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a March 27 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the financial leasing company were up over 5% in Monday afternoon trade.

Earnings per share came in at 0.16 yuan, compared with 0.17 yuan a year earlier.

Total revenue declined 4.5% to 6.82 billion yuan from 7.14 billion yuan in 2024.

The board recommended a final dividend of 0.043 yuan per share, subject to shareholder approval, with payment expected by July 24 to shareholders on record as of May 20.
