4月2日，港股铝业股逆势拉升，其中，创新实业涨近6%，中国铝业涨近4%，中国宏桥涨3%，俄铝涨近2%。
消息上，在中东局势持续升级背景下，伊朗对海湾地区关键工业设施的打击开始冲击全球大宗商品市场。据4月1日周三的消息，在上周末其厂区遭到伊朗导弹和无人机袭击后，中东最大铝金属生产商——阿联酋环球铝业（EGA）位于阿布扎比的主要冶炼厂已被迫暂停运营。消息传出后，伦敦金属交易所（LME）的期铝交易价昨日晚间一度涨约2%，铜等其他工业金属价格同步走强，显示市场开始计入更广泛的供应风险。
华侨银行全球研究部分析师在一份报告中称，由于中东地区持续的供应限制，短期内价格可能会保持高位。预计供应方面的压力将在短期内使价格保持高位，因为经由霍尔木兹海峡的供应依然中断，同时海湾地区的生产正在关闭。
