1453 ET - Burlington Stores sees an opportunity to boost sales by localizing its offerings and pursuing new marketing strategies -- two areas that some of its peers have found success with, Deutsche Bank analysts say in a note. The discount retailer is in the early days of localization, a tool that its competitors have used for years, with plans to allocate its assortment based on weather, product and brands, the analysts say. The company expects those efforts to help with seasonal transitions-like from back-to-school shopping to the holiday period, for example-and boost same-store sales, they say. Burlington is also testing some new marketing strategies that have worked for Ross Stores and Five Below, like influencer and social media marketing, they say. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
