　　据利益相关方Newmed Energy LP的一位发言人告诉记者，Leviathan项目现在可以恢复对国内市场和出口的供应。此前一天，以色列能源部宣布该项目重启在即。Leviathan气田是雪佛龙公司在东地中海运营的一个大型天然气田，不仅对满足以色列当地的天然气需求至关重要，对埃及也同样重要。

　　2月28日冲突爆发后，以色列出于安全考虑下令暂时关闭部分天然气田。战争导致霍尔木兹海峡的航运受阻，导弹袭击破坏了卡塔尔的全球最大液化天然气工厂，这加剧了全球市场的紧张局势。
