智通财经APP获悉，道达尔能源公司(TTE.US)和阿联酋新能源公司Masdar周四宣布，将合并双方在九个亚洲国家的陆上可再生能源业务，成立一家价值22亿美元的合资企业。合并后的公司将拥有3 GW的运营装机容量，另有6 GW处于晚期开发阶段。双方将各自持有这家总部位于阿布扎比的合资企业50%的股份。
这两家公司将向合资企业注入价值相当的资产，在建项目预计将于2030年投入运营。交易完成后，合资企业将开发、建设、拥有和运营太阳能、风能和储能项目;这将是它们在阿塞拜疆、印度尼西亚、日本、哈萨克斯坦、马来西亚、菲律宾、新加坡、韩国和乌兹别克斯坦的业务合并起来。
“亚洲将是未来十年全球电力需求增长的主要驱动力，”阿联酋工业和先进技术部长兼Masdar董事长Sultan Al Jaber表示。
上个月，媒体报道称，美国官员正在起草协议，拟向道达尔支付近10亿美元，作为取消风电场租赁合同的补偿。
