Guzman y Gomez (ASX:GYG) reported network sales of AU$345.9 million in the fiscal third-quarter ended March 31, up from AU$289.5 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The fast-casual restaurant chain reaffirmed guidance it issued in February. It said the Australia segment's underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization as a percentage of network sales is expected to grow to 6% to 6.2% in fiscal year 2026 from 5.7% in the previous year.
Guzman y Gomez recorded five new restaurant openings in Australia in the fiscal third quarter, and is on track to open 32 new restaurants in Australia in the full fiscal year, per the filing.
