Apple Stock Drags Down the Dow -- WSJ

Dow Jones

Apple is the worst performer in the Dow Jones Industrial Average so far Tuesday, dragging the index down more than 57 points.

Shares of the iPhone maker are around 4% lower after Nikkei Asia reported overnight that its long-anticipated foldable phone has hit engineering hurdles and may face shipping delays. The drop comes as most stocks are in negative territory Tuesday as an Iran deadline issued by President Trump looms.

Apple stock is on pace for its largest decline since Feb. 12, when a 5% fall wiped more than $200 billion from its market value amid a broad selloff sparked by concerns around AI.
