伊拉克巴士拉4月6日 - 伊拉克国营巴士拉石油公司(Basra Oil Company)负责人表示，如果伊朗战争结束、霍尔木兹海峡重新开放，伊拉克有望在一周内将原油出口量恢复至每日约340万桶。
路透分析指出，在海湾产油国中，由于霍尔木兹海峡实质性关闭，伊拉克的石油收入降幅最大，因该国缺乏替代运输路线。
不过作为石油输出国组织（OPEC）第二大产油国，伊拉克能够迅速将产量恢复至2月底美以对伊朗发动袭击、导致该水道实质关闭前的水准。
Bassem Abdul Karim表示，伊朗迄今仅口头保证将允许伊拉克油轮通过霍尔木兹海峡。
他在接受路透采访时表示：“我们尚未收到任何允许伊拉克油轮通行的正式文件。”
他表示，伊拉克南部油田日产量约为90万桶，但如果战争结束、且通过霍尔木兹海峡的安全获得保障，出口量可在一周内达到340万桶/日。(完)
