智通财经APP获悉，联合包裹服务公司(UPS.US)上周日表示，已与国际卡车司机兄弟会(Teamsters)达成协议，将针对公司裁员计划引发的争议，对向7500名司机提供的离职补偿方案设定上限。根据该协议，联合包裹将向提前退休的司机提供15万美元的补偿。
该工会此前试图阻止这家包裹配送巨头推行“司机选择计划”，认为该计划未经协商即启动，违反了双方2023年的劳动协议。工会主张，相关合同条款总体上禁止联合包裹与其司机签订此类个人协议。
1月底，联合包裹发布第四季度财报，全年营收指引优于预期，表明其通过削减低利润包裹业务重塑网络的战略正初见成效。
这家总部位于亚特兰大的快递巨头表示，预计2026年营收将达约897亿美元，高于分析师平均预期的879.5亿美元。
此次展望是该公司一年来首次提供全年营收指引，标志着在去年动荡的贸易政策扰乱需求前景后，其业务能见度正重新恢复。
联合包裹今年1月宣布，计划年内裁减至多3万个岗位，并关闭24处设施。此举旨在减少为其最大客户在线零售商亚马逊运送数百万单低利润包裹的业务。
