StepStone (STEP) and Amplify Partners have joined Moonbounce's $12 million funding round as lead investors, the artificial intelligence startup said Monday.

The round also included participation from PrimeSet and Josh Leslie, former chief executive officer of Cumulus Networks and Gremlin.

Led by Brett Levenson, former head of Meta's (META) Integrity unit, and Chief Technology Officer Ash Bhardwaj, previously an engineering leader at Apple (AAPL), Moonbounce is developing a control engine that converts content policies into AI behavior.

The startup said it already serves customers across dating platforms, AI chat applications, and generative content sites.
