印尼央行高级副行长德斯特里·达马扬蒂（Destry Damayanti）周二表示，印尼央行已采取措施维持印尼盾稳定，避免印尼盾兑美元汇率跌至历史新低后出现过度波动。
“稳定印尼盾汇率无疑是我们目前的首要任务。我们将动用一切可用的工具和政策，全力以赴。”她说道，并补充说，印尼盾面临的压力主要源于全球形势，包括市场对美以伊朗冲突的反应。
根据LSEG的数据，周二上午印尼盾兑美元汇率一度下跌0.35%，至17090。数据显示，印尼盾今年迄今对美元的汇率已下跌超过2%，与一些地区货币的走势基本一致。
德斯特里表示，印尼央行已干预即期和无本金交割远期外汇市场，并准备在必要时于二级市场购买政府债券。当局还将通过提高以印尼盾计价的证券（即SRBI）的吸引力来增加资金流入。
她表示，印尼盾疲软无疑会对经济活动产生负面影响，但其主要商品价格上涨将有助于抵消这种影响。
