当地时间4月7日，运动相机厂商GoPro向美国证监会提交文件，宣布将裁减145名员工，以应对公司迟迟无法恢复盈利的困境。
GoPro透露，截至第一季度末，公司员工总数为631人，此次裁员占比约23%。此次裁员计划于公司第二季度内启动，预计在2026年底前全部完成。
GoPro表示，与重组计划相关的费用预计在1150万至1500万美元（现汇率约合7903.1万至1.03亿元人民币）之间，包括遣散费及医疗保健福利。
公司创始人兼首席执行官尼古拉斯·伍德曼3月曾表示，公司正面临多重宏观经济压力，包括关税、内存成本以及供应限制。2025年初，GoPro曾预计在财年末恢复盈利，但其第四季度仍录得910万美元（现汇率约合6253.7万元人民币）亏损，合每股亏损6美分。
这家总部位于加州圣马特奥的公司一直在努力降低运营支出，2025 年全年营收出现下滑。在最近结束的第四季度，公司称其成本已较上年同期削减了26%。为应对增长乏力，GoPro已拓宽了其硬件与软件产品线，正在推出包括图像处理器在内的AI产品。去年秋天，伍德曼完成了对公司的200万美元投资，以资助新产品研发。
另外，GoPro曾在2024年进行过两轮裁员：当年第一季度裁减4%的员工，第三季度裁减25%。截至2024年底，公司拥有696名员工。
