ChainCatcher消息，币安创始人赵长鹏（CZ）在新书《币安人生》中详细回顾了 Terra/UST/LUNA 崩盘事件。2018 年，币安创投部门以 300 万美元投资 Terra，换取 LUNA 代币。2022 年 5 月 7 日起，UST 开始脱锚并迅速崩盘，价值蒸发约 600 亿美元。
同时，团队告知早期投资的 LUNA 已价值 16 亿美元，CZ 决定不卖出套现，理由是不想引发市场恐慌、伤害项目，也不愿被视为跑在散户前面。尽管如此，其持有的 LUNA 几天内从 16 亿美元市值暴跌至几千美元，币安遭受巨大损失。
CZ 在书中指出，Terra 声称拥有数十亿美元储备却未用于稳定 UST，创始人 Do Kwon 缺乏透明回应。UST 设计依赖 LUNA 作为储备，脱锚后系统疯狂铸造 LUNA，总量增加 1000 倍，加速崩盘。Terra 最终动用 30 亿美元比特币储备救场却为时已晚，他表示对 Do Kwon 可能私留 2 亿美元做法律费用感到震惊。
