快科技4月8日消息，据媒体报道，谷歌及Alphabet首席执行官桑达尔·皮查伊近日在一档节目中，就公司手握1750亿美元却买不到足够存储芯片的困境，以及太空数据中心等下一个“SpaceX级别”押注的细节展开了交流。
皮查伊表示，受制于晶圆开工量、内存供应及基础设施建设速度，谷歌即便拥有千亿美元级的资本支出计划，短期内仍难以完全落地。
他预计，2027年将成为人工智能改变工作方式的重要拐点。
在长期技术布局方面，谷歌正同步推进量子计算、太空数据中心、机器人、无人机配送等多个前沿方向。
皮查伊透露，公司已处于思考太空数据中心的最早期阶段，量子计算也是长期重点推进的领域之一。
谈及AI初创公司，皮查伊指出，近两年新设立的初创企业明显具备更加“AI原生”的优势，而像谷歌这样的成熟公司则需要经历再培训和组织转型等过程。
