随着美国总统特朗普设定的最后期限临近，交易员试图解读有关中东冲突走向的相互矛盾的信号，WTI周二小幅收高。
WTI收于接近每桶113美元。鉴于目前供应受限，市场对近期交付的原油给出溢价，5月WTI合约收高。
但全球基准布伦特原油交易的是6月合约，周二收盘微跌，在每桶109美元附近。
现货供应紧张的另一个迹象是即期布伦特价格飙升至每桶144美元上方的纪录高位。
在流动性偏低的情况下，期货市场价格波动被放大，同时各类消息呈现出相互矛盾的叙事。
许多交易员减少交易，以避开极端波动并等待特朗普政府的下一步行动。
特朗普周二早些时候加大威胁，警告称如果伊朗不在最后期限前达成协议，“整个文明将在今晚灭亡”。
伊朗已停止与美国的停火谈判，而Axios报道称美国和伊朗的谈判在过去24小时取得进展。
战略与国际问题研究中心中东项目主任Mona Yacoubian表示：“目前充斥着大量干扰信息和噪音，很难从中辨别真正的信号”。
伊朗警告称，若美国进一步升级打击，德黑兰将加强对波斯湾能源基础设施的攻击，此举可能加剧全球燃料紧张。
5月WTI上涨0.5% ，结算价报每桶112.95美元。
6月布伦特下跌0.5%，结算价报每桶109.27美元。
