ASX Midday Sector Update: Information Technology Stocks Gain, Industrials Lower

Information technology stocks were up 4% around midday Tuesday, leading broad gains across sectors.
Nextdc (ASX:NXT) was up more than 12% after it launched a AU$1 billion wholesale offering of subordinated hybrid securities, supported by a AU$1 billion binding commitment from Canadian investment group La Caisse.
Industrials and consumer staples stocks were the only ones in the red, both posting fractional declines.
Shares of DroneShield (ASX:DRO) were 1% higher after the company delivered its second-quarter software release, with coordinated updates across its platforms.
