消息面上，中东紧张局势迎来逆转，特朗普宣布接受调解方巴基斯坦的停火两周提议，以色列和伊朗也接受提议，伊方称，4月10日本周五开始在巴基斯坦首都伊斯兰堡进行伊美谈判。此外，伊朗外交部长阿拉格齐8日凌晨代表伊朗最高国家安全委员会宣布，霍尔木兹海峡将在两周时间内实现安全通航。受此影响，国际油价持续跳水，WTI原油期货一度暴跌超19%，日内最低报91.05美元/桶。
另外，据央视新闻最新报道，巴基斯坦总理夏巴兹·谢里夫已邀请伊朗和美国代表团前往巴首都伊斯兰堡开展谈判。夏巴兹·谢里夫还表示，伊美双方停火将于伊朗时间8日凌晨3时30分（北京时间8日8时）生效。
