消息面上，丰田和本田发布的数据显示，3月在华新车销量比上年同期均出现下滑。受中东局势恶化影响，中国国内汽油价格上涨，汽车市场出现消费者暂缓购买燃油车及混合动力车(HV)的趋势。
丰田的3月在华销量为14万2700辆，同比下滑8%，本田的销量为3万6201辆，同比下滑34%。丰田1~3月的在华新车销量为37万600辆，同比下滑4%。高端品牌雷克萨斯的销量为3万9300辆，同比增长1%。本田1~3月的在华销量为12万2470辆，同比下滑22%。
