美国佛罗里达州总检察长詹姆斯 乌特迈耶周四宣布，其办公室计划就ChatGPT据称在去年一起致命枪击案中所扮演的角色对OpenAI展开调查。
2025年4月，一名枪手在佛罗里达州立大学校园内开枪，造成两人死亡、五人受伤。上周，该案一名受害者的代理律师称，肇事者曾利用ChatGPT策划这起袭击事件。受害者家属表示，将就此事起诉OpenAI。
乌特迈耶表示，周活跃用户超9亿的ChatGPT与多类违法犯罪行为存在关联，包括儿童性虐待、怂恿自杀与自残等。
“人工智能应推动人类进步，而非毁灭人类，”乌特迈耶在X平台发布的一份声明中表示。“我们要求OpenAI就其伤害未成年人、危及美国民众安全，并为近期佛罗里达州立大学大规模枪击案提供便利的相关行为作出解释。作恶者必须承担责任。”乌特迈耶补充称，调查期间将“即将发出传票”。
马斯克回应了乌特迈耶的帖子，他写道：“ChatGPT这种阿谀奉承的做法必须停止，他们通过欺骗用户、迎合用户的危险幻想来最大化自己的收入！”
