Dev IT Bags Order Worth INR260 Million to Develop Pharmacists Platform; Shares Up 7%

Dev Information Technology (NSE:DEVIT, BOM:543462) has secured an order worth 260 million Indian rupees from the National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The contract is for design, development, system integration, and maintenance of the National Pharmacists Registration Tracking System platform, along with the implementation of cybersecurity measures for the existing IT environment, under the Pharmacy Council of India.

The IT services company will enable a centralized, web-based system for efficient pharmacist registration and tracking at a national level.

The contract is awarded on a fixed-cost basis and will be executed over three years.

The company's shares were up nearly 7% in recent trade.
