New Hope Liuhe's (SHE:000876) revenue from pig sales in March dropped 20% year on year to 1.55 billion yuan, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.
The number of pigs sold jumped 18% from a year earlier to 1.3 million pigs in the same month.
The agricultural company's average pig selling price was 9.74 yuan per kilogram, down 33% from the previous year.
