JD Vance to Lead U.S. Negotiating Team in Islamabad This Weekend -- WSJ

Vice President JD Vance will lead a team of negotiators in weekend talks in Islamabad, the White House said.

Vance will be joined in the Iran talks by special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday. "The first round of those talks will take place on Saturday morning, local time, and we know we look forward to those in-person meetings," she said.
