ChainCatcher 消息，据香港文汇报报道，香港金管局副总裁陈维民表示，稳定币发行人选择发行何种币种主要视乎申请人自己的选择，先推出港元稳定币，将来发行其他币种包括人民币，在香港制度是允许的，但申请人也需要得到内地监管机构的批准。
对于何时才会发出第二批稳定币发行人牌照，陈维民表示目前未有相关时间表，但一直与有意申请牌照的申请人保持沟通。据悉，汇丰银行稳定币将接入 PayMe 和 HSBC HK App 两款应用且支持个人之间的实时转账，以及个人对商户（P2M）服务。
