消息面上，海事数据顾问公司报告指出，目前霍尔木兹海峡的交通依然稀疏且受到严格管控，船只通过时仍须与伊朗军方协调。报告指，航行条件、过路费安排以及过境的法律框架仍不明朗，海峡并未真正重开，目前仅处于一种“受监管的停顿状态”。
据高盛，中远海能有8艘船(含3艘VLCC)被困波斯湾，无法收取滞期费，构成短期拖累；公司已调派10+艘VLCC转战红海延布港，该航线TCE高达17-18万美元/天，成为重要盈利增量。大摩则表示，考虑到现货市场走强将带动油轮盈利能力提升，预计中远海能今年和明年净利润增长分别为54%和4%。
