Santana Minerals (ASX:SMI, NZE:SMI) said step-out drilling, targeting the northerly down-plunge extensions of mineralization at the Rise and Shine and Come-in-Time deposits in New Zealand, supports the model of the deposits being part of a broader gold camp, according to separate filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
It encountered intercepts of 12 meters at 1.5 grams per tonne grade of gold from 815 meters at Rise and Shine and 13.9 meters at 1.1 g/t grade of gold from 181.1 meters from Come-in-Time.
Its shares fell 1% in early trading on the New Zealand bourse on Wednesday.
