消息面上，美国总统特朗普4月12日宣布封锁霍尔木兹海峡。东方证券此前表示，若不考虑极端情况下霍尔木兹海峡长期封锁所带来的经济冲击对油运带来的极端尾部风险，未来需求端增量主要来自两个方面，即战略库存的回补；原油消费国对于能源安全担忧下超额补库需求。
国金证券发布研报称，本周中东局势再次紧张，冲突持续升级风险提高，原本逐步消退的风险溢价再次回升。大西洋市场后劲不足，活跃度较上周有所下滑，随着不少船舶卸货后，可用运力相对增加，成交运价也开始下滑。目前，中东市场局势依旧不明朗，地缘政治博弈持续影响，大西洋市场询盘较上周相对下降，整体运价预计短期内仍将持续在高位波动。
