智通财经APP获悉，谷歌(GOOGL.US)旗下Waymo自动驾驶出租车业务现已面向美国佛罗里达州迈阿密与奥兰多的所有乘客开放，结束了此前仅对受邀用户开放的运营模式。
该公司同时已在迈阿密高速公路开展道路测试，使得迈阿密成为继凤凰城、旧金山和洛杉矶之后，又一个拥有高速公路运营服务的城市。
Waymo 在官网表示：“依托Waymo经实践验证安全可靠的人工智能技术，我们的通用型自动驾驶系统得以实现跨区域稳定部署。我们在迈阿密与奥兰多取得的进展，充分印证了该系统的规模化拓展能力，正将未来出行方式带给更多地区、更多人群。”
