金吾财讯 | Rivian Automotive(RIVN)和Redwood Materials宣布建立合作伙伴关系，将在Rivian位于伊利诺伊州诺默尔的制造工厂建立一个最先进的电池储能系统。该系统采用100多个回收利用的Rivian电池组构建而成，初期可提供10兆瓦时(MWh)的可调度能源。预计该系统将降低成本，缓解高峰用电需求期间电网的压力，从而提高电网的整体稳定性和可靠性。其中，Rivian将向Redwood供应二手电动汽车电池组，Redwood会将这些电池组整合到RedwoodEnergy的储能系统中。该系统采用Redwood的PackManager技术，旨在使Rivian位于伊利诺伊州的工厂能够就地使用储存的能源。
