金吾财讯 |加拿大皇家银行(RY)周四发布分析报告指，随着企业开始尝试使用加密货币进行资金管理，拥有庞大企业现金管理业务的欧洲银行可能面临利润挤压和客户流失的风险。其中，汇丰银行(HSBC)与德意志银行(DB)被列为受影响最严重的机构。企业支付业务贡献了集团总收入的10%或更多，若数字货币支付大规模普及，这些高敞口银行可能损失高达7%的收入。
报告表示，在受访的18家欧洲银行中，72%的银行认为跨国支付是数字资产在短期内最主要的应用场景，且企业支付是目前“最接近市场”的用途。不过，风险客观存在，银行内部态度分化。83%的受访银行目前仍不认为数字资产是其核心产品或既有服务的替代品；67%的银行表示企业对稳定币的需求有限，对其流动性的影响目前“微乎其微”。
报告指出，为了抵御利润缩减，德意志银行、巴克莱银行(BCS)及法巴银行(BNPQY)等均已加入由银行主导的稳定币联盟，试图在数字资产浪潮中寻求新的收入增长点。
