Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI Chief Executive Sam Altman said in a weekend blog post that his San Francisco home was attacked with a Molotov cocktail Friday.
The device caused a fire to an exterior gate, but no one was injured, the San Francisco Police said in a post on social media platform X.
The same person had also threatened to burn down the company's headquarters and was later arrested, the police said.
Microsoft has invested billions into ChatGPT maker OpenAI.
