美国财长斯科特·贝森特周二表示，尽管受到美以伊冲突的影响，美国经济基本面依然强劲，今年经济增长率仍有可能超过3%或3.5%。
贝森特认为，国际货币基金组织（IMF）和世界银行下调全球经济增长预期和上调通胀预期是反应过度。IMF周二下调了其经济增长预期，原因是伊朗冲突导致能源价格飙升。
“我认为经济基本面依然强劲，”贝森特在华盛顿的一次直播活动上表示。
“我确实认为今年经济增长很容易超过3%，甚至3.5%。”
贝森特还评论了美国对其他国家征收的关税，称在最高法院于 2 月份裁定特朗普根据紧急法征收广泛的全球关税越权之后，到 7 月份，这些关税可能会恢复到之前的水平。
“到 7 月初，关税可能会恢复到之前的水平，”他说道，指的是特朗普政府正在采取的措施，例如根据 1974 年贸易法第 301 条款进行调查。
