日本央行行长植田和男周一表示，日本经济和物价发展大致符合该行的预测，但他呼吁密切关注中东冲突升级的影响。
“由于中东局势紧张，全球金融市场不稳定，原油价格大幅上涨。我们必须警惕未来的事态发展。”植田和男在由日本央行副行长冰见野良三宣读的讲话中说道。
植田和男表示，原油价格上涨将损害日本经济，并补充说，旷日持久的中东冲突可能会因供应链中断而影响工厂产出。
他指出，虽然油价上涨会在短期内推高能源价格，但它对潜在通胀的影响可能是上行压力，也可能是下行压力。
“如果产出缺口扩大，可能会抑制潜在通胀。另一方面，如果原油价格上涨提高了公众对中长期通胀的预期，则可能会推高潜在通胀。”植田说道。
